Maintenance
Whether you are on a pension or are privately purchasing hearing aids, we’ve got your ongoing hearing aid maintenance covered
We can teach you how to look after your hearing aids
Regular cleaning and maintenance to your hearing aids will help keep them in good working order. Depending on the style of hearing devices you have some ways of doing this are:
- Daily brushing of tips/earmoulds and microphones
- Regular tubing and/or filter changes
- Keep hearing aids dry (The use of a dehumidifier in summer could be useful)
- Weekly battery changes and not leaving aids unused with batteries in as they corrode
- If in doubt, get them checked - we’re happy to look at your devices at any time, just call in to see us!
We’re always here to help
Your clinician will show you how to care for your devices when you first get them. On top of that we will have at least one appointment per year to check your ears, hearing and hearing aids. If at any stage you have an issue with your device, just pop in to your local Country Hearing clinic and our helpful staff will endeavour to fix your issue there and then.
Your friendly local Country Hearing Care team would love to help you
